MLK weekend

This is a little delayed, but definitely worth blogging about. I might not have had Monday off, but Will and I had such an exciting weekend that it still felt like a holiday. Friday night went travelled up to Salt Lake to attend a comedy show by The Left Field. It's a group of people who used to be in BYU's stand up comedy club Humor U, but have graduated. They did a great job - the show was hilarious and we got to see lots of our favorites. Not only was it a great show, but they were recording the show to make a DVD - so you all just might see us on the DVD some day! :)

Then Saturday night was the Guster concert - also in Salt Lake (we did lots of driving). We knew it was going to be a good night when we pulled up and there was a parking spot on the steet in front of the venue - just waiting there for us! The concert was great. Will ran into quite a few people from Kaysville. The venue is a smaller one - standing room only. We were probably about 5 people deep from the stage. It was fabulous. They sang lots of songs from their new album and all of our old favorites. It was a wonderful night!

I'm a lucky girl to get two amazing dates in one weekend! Thanks Will!
