Dentist Visit
It's been a year since I last went and I only have one cavity. The hygenist did say that I have excellent oral hygene. If only my brsuhing and flossing everyday would actually do something about my trend in cavities I'd be a little more pleased with myself.
An Adventure In Public Transportation
Sara was so kind as to give me a ride up to Taylorsville so that I could go to the dentist, she had to go to work so that ment it was up to me and the drivers of UTA to get back to Provo.
It began with an uneventful walk to the bus stop on 4700 South and an even much less ride to the 4500 South Trax station. I got on the Southbound Trax and rode to Sandy. The interesting thing is that I've never gone south on Trax, I've gone north plenty of times and to get back to Provo I usually got a ride with Brent and Amber back down after Sunday dinner.
Back to the adventure... The nice thing about public transportation is people watching. I watched one person get off the Southbound Trax only to walk over and get on the Northbound one. Once I got on the brand new bus (it was nice) heading to Provo I wittnessed other great happenings. Like the cow sitting on the Chick-Fil-A sign swingin' and bobin' all over the place. That cow should get a bonus, he was good. Then there was the 80 year old man that got off the bus in Sandy and immediatly started jogging. It was 95 degrees and he started running in jeans and a polo, I hope he wasn't late for something.
All in all it was a great trip and an adventure in public transportation.

working out late at night = a bad idea
So I didn't make it to the gym this morning - so I worked out tonight instead. Bad idea...I'm so awake and I really should be asleep. So new rule for myself - I have to be done at the gym by eight pm. That way maybe I can fall asleep at a reasonable hour.
In other news, only 18 mores days until the wedding! This past weekend my friends in Provo threw me a great shower! It was really fun to see everyone and have a chance to catch up. This summer has be crazy - between working full time and traveling and wedding stuff - I feel like I hardly get to see anyone. It was a kitchen shower and we got some lovely gifts - lots of pans - pie pans and cookie sheets, a george foreman grill, a rice cooker, a cake stand, and a kitchen aid mixer. But my favorite part of the shower was the question game. You know the one where they ask the groom questions ahead of time and then they see if the bride's answers match up? Well - Margaret and Tony are awesome and put a new spin on this game. The video taped Will answering the questions - which was a blast because then everyone got to hear him answer it and see his facial expressions and such. And they gave us a copy of the DVD...so if anyone wants to see Will making a fool of himself - just let me know. ;)
Ok - I promise...I'm going to work on putting pictures on the blog so it's more interesting. I have to get pictures from my mom from the shower and then I'll add them.

Catch up plus Fourth of Juy
So I sat down to blog about our fourth of Juy weekend and realized I never blogged about my weekend in Seattle. So I thought I'd play a little catch up first. Two weekends ago I went home to Seattle for the weekend. My home ward was throwing me a bridal shower and I went through the Seattle temple with my family. The temple was a beautiful experience. I loved being there with my whole family - now the only thing better will be being there with Will. And the shower with the sweet women from my home ward was a blast. They're all so sweet. Will and I got so many generous gifts. The ones I'm super excited about include a waffle iron, a griddle, a knive set, and our big group gift - a vacuum cleaner! It was so much fun to visit with so many friends! I even had a couple of friends from high school come.
This past weekend Will and I were able to go up to Kaysville to celebrate the fourth of July with family! It was a blast. Friday we went to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple open house - stopping on the way at Ikea - where we found a kitchen table we're awfully found of. Then we went to the open house - it was really crowded - I blame it on the fourth of July weekend. After that we headed on up to Kaysville and joined John and Maren at the ward pool party. It was really fun. I think my favorite part was watching Will and John do a slow motion water fight. (I hear Brent's really good at this game too!) Saturday we did some work in the garden and then went to the parade. Then we picked up Bob and Wendy from the airport and all the relatives came over for a barbeque. We ended the night by going up with John to watch the fireworks! All in all it was a splendid fourth of July and a very relaxing weekend! I took my camera up to Kaysville specifically to take pictures so this blog would be more entertaining - but alas - the camera never made it out of my bag - maybe next time!
Only 32 days till the wedding - not that anyone is counting!
